Pour le non-hispanophones!

So this might be the first post I do in English. You may ask yourselves why?
Well my friend Viru doesn’t understand Spanish… and well oh well… I wanted him to understand this post.
Ah and there is always Mr.Phan, who is too curious!

So right now I’m in Greece.
My trip started well. I took for the first time in my life an Air China flight.
Don’t worry I know what you’re thinking: Air China?! You took a Chinese airline for a flight from Paris to Athens? Well… hmm yeap! I thought the same thing when I bought my ticket but it was the cheapest flight I found at the time.

So Athens is a cool city, though during winter is always raining. Our hotel/studio is great. The museums close around 3 pm, so we have little time to do cultural stuff, but my mom and I walk a lot around the city. We also take a lot of naps… I’m a little bit worried.
I have to say that the weirdest thing I found about this country is that Greeks are handsome! I never really knew any Greek young people so I didn’t have an idea in my head about them; maybe it’s just that I have a lot of time to stare at people when we go to the coffee shops in order to protect ourselves from the rain.

Oh well, but let’s put some content in this post, because if not, you’re going to think that I just came to Greece to watch some guys… nah I can do that at home (I mean Paris), and it’s not because of that, that I came here.
I came because I always wanted to see the Acropolis; now that I’ve seen it I see why I love contemporary and modern history. It’s not so interesting when you have so many holes about how life was back then. I mean, all this ancient ruins and temples are amazing, don’t get me wrong, but we can’t truly know in which purpose where they really built, plus we have only some pieces and we have to fill all the rest with assumptions… and PLUS I don’t know about all the historians around the globe, but in France, the teachers always think that THEIR way of thinking is THE ONLY one, so you have to believe word by word what they say because, we youngsters don’t know anything about history.

But anyways the city is really cool. We walk and we walk and I don’t get tired of this country. I’ve seen so many places and pieces and pieces… and yes pieces. It’s funny that some interesting places were found because they (the Greeks) decided to make a big hole for the subway or something like that and suddenly “ oh ancient ruins!”
My mom really loves it here, she’s even planning to come back and live for around 6 months in this city. I’m happy she likes it; I think this was the whole purpose of the trip.

BUT (big but) let’s go back some days before my Athens’ trip.
We had the Christmas dinner at my house, with my mom, my cousin, my flat mate and two of my dearest friends Balwant and Viru.
I cooked for some hours, not letting anyone help (my grandma would’ve been so proud), and then dinner was served.
I had an awesome night!
I learned the weirdest Indian dance ever, I forced my friends to dance, we did some tequila shots and finally I was the first to fall asleep, as always!
Yes, it wasn’t the typical Christmas dinner for me, actually I’m not even sure it felt like Christmas but it felt like love, a lot!

Well, flashback is over.
This post will be unfinished.. but hold your breath, the rest will be soon here in your favorite blog spot( hahaha I wish) as soon as I get back to Paris.
